It’s a new year, 2024, and we’d like to thank you for sticking with Berith in 2023.
We’d like to share with you the progress of the Berith Project throughout the year of 2023. You can find more details on each of them in our previous monthly reports.
1. BERA — BERS swap and integration process for a single BERS system underway
As we move from the existing BRT, BERA, and BERS triple system to the BERS single system, we are proceeding with the BERS swap process.
If you have applied for the BERS swap and have not received the swapped coins, please check the application form and contact support@berith.co as the application form is incorrect or you have not transferred the existing coins to the swap wallet.
2. Berith Voting Results
1) Request to remove the minimum threshold requirement for BERS Stake (passed)
2) Berith BERS Mainnet dApp conversion proposal (passed)
3. Berith AMA 3times in 2023 (February, April, September)
We have conducted three Berith AMAs with in 2023 with a lot of interest. The next AMA is scheduled to be held in the first half of 2024.
4. BERS Blockchain Core Upgrade Progress
Performance upgrades and address system change from Bx to 0x have been completed, and meta-mask BERS blockchain network integration has been applied.
Berith Scan, Berith Mobile Wallet checks and updates have been completed.
5. Berith Wallet version upgrade
Error and optimization work is in progress, and Ethereum node upgrade work within Berith Wallet is in progress.
* Currently, it is not possible to send Ethereum, ERC-20, etc. using the Ethereum blockchain from Berith Wallet. You can use it by linking your Berith Wallet address with a metamask.
6. B2C service planning and development
As a B2C service, we are completing the prototype development of the Metaverse blind date service and developing additional features.
7. BERA node suspension due to BERS integration
Due to the integration of BERS into a single system, existing BERA holders are in the process of swapping to BERS. For more information, please refer to the announcement.
8. Berith BERS Mainnet Klaytn Conversion Development Work is Underway
We are preparing to transition the Berith BERS mainnet to Klaytn’s dApps after passing the last vote. We are reflecting the existing technology of BERS so that it can be utilized even after it is converted to Klaytn’s dApp, and for this purpose, we are also considering some services built and developed through Berith BaaS to be used by utilizing Klaytn.
We have prioritized the development of Klaytn-based Berith Swap, which will be used when we switch to Klaytn, and have tested its normal operation.
Through this, we aim to enable collaborative interaction between the Berith ecosystem infrastructure and Klaytn’s extensive development pool, infrastructure, etc.
We will announce the specific development schedule and development contents as soon as possible.
* Currently, the Klaytn conversion development work is in the preparation stage, and we are closely monitoring the market fluctuations. If there are any unusual circumstances or changes, we will share them through additional announcements.
9. Preparing to develop a web version of the voting system
As we move forward with the transition to Klaytn dApps, we are currently preparing to develop a web version of the voting feature that was previously available on the mobile wallet.
The web version of the voting system will be released for use with linked wallets in time for the Klaytn dApp transition. After the transition to Klaytn, we will develop the necessary features sequentially and share the schedule and contents with you.
