I would like to share with you the progress of the Berith Project that was carried out in May.
1) Announcement on the April Berith AMA and Its Content
We held our Berith AMA on April 28th. The session was discussing the direction of the Berith project, with a specific focus on the proposal to transition the existing Berith mainnet to a dApp. This topic will be discussed further through Berith Voting.

2) Announcement on the Successful Completion of the Berith Hard Fork
We are pleased to announce that the hard fork of the Berith BERS (PoS) blockchain was successfully completed, beginning with block 21,314,000 on April 24, 2023.
The wallet address system has changed from Bx to 0x, and the upgraded version could support the new smart contract, it is now possible to apply it to various dApps. Moreover, the BERS blockchain network is now supported within MetaMask.

3) Announcement on Berith Mobile Wallet Maintenance and Update
We are currently working on maintenance and updates on the Berith network and wallet services to provide improved services. As a result, users may experience instability while using the Berith Mobile Wallet. We suggest using the Berith Web Wallet instead during this period.

4) Announcement on Metamask Support for Berith BERS Network
Following the hard fork of the Berith BERS blockchain, the BERS blockchain now supports MetaMask, one of the most popular blockchain wallets, in addition to the existing PoS Staking Wallet and Berith Mobile Wallet.

5) Announcement on the Integration of Berith BERA Blockchain
The existing Berith BERA blockchain is scheduled to be integrated with BERS. Existing BERA coin holders are expected to convert to BERS according to the swap procedure.

Please note, the planned swap procedure is currently delayed due to the Berith blockchain network update. We will make an announcement once the swap procedure is completed.
6) Announcement on Voting Regarding Berith Blockchain’s Transition to dApp
As discussed during the AMA, we are planning to convert the current Berith blockchain from a mainnet to a dApp format using tokens based on the Klaytn platform. To proceed with this, we will conduct a vote on the process and compensation for suspending staking.
We expected to share a community post related to the vote in June.
After than, we will gather suggestions for detailed compensation plans throughout the month
Finally, we will begin voting using Berith Voting in late June or during July.
