I would like to share with you the progress of the Berith Project that was carried out in August.
1. Berith Scan Update
In the Berith Scan’s wallet address search function, we’ve corrected the search mix-up error that caused from hard-forking the existing Bx address system to 0x in a previous update.
As of August 25, both Bx and 0x addresses can be searched.
However, please be aware that temporary errors might occur when using Berith Scan and Berith Wallet due to a general review and update of the Berith network.
We aim to complete the review and update process as quickly as possible.
2. About verification errors in Berith Wallet
We are currently experiencing an error related to identity verification when signing up for Berith Wallet. We are currently communicating with the verification company to determine the cause and will restore it as soon as possible.
3. Berith BERS Mainnet dApp Transition Proposal Voting Underway
Voting is now open for the transition of Berith BERS’ mainnet to a dApp on Klaytn.
The voting period is from August 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm to September 22, 2023 at 11:59 pm.

4. BERS Mainnet dApp Transition Voting Questions and Answers
1) What happens to my existing mainnet staking rewards if the dApp transition to the BERS mainnet is app
Berith BERS Staking will be terminated if the vote to convert the Berith BERS mainnet to Klaytn dApps passes. While we greatly appreciate the contributions made to the ecosystem by existing BERS node configurations, Berith BERS Staking will be terminated in the first half of 2024 to coincide with the expected completion of the work to integrate Berith’s existing blockchain ecosystem and BaaS with Klaytn. Specific timelines will be announced at a later date.
2) Are there any additional rewards for running a BERS mainnet node?
We have considered providing more continuous rewards to node members who have taken the lead in contributing to the ecosystem, but we are concerned that constructing nodes in a situation where the mainnet is being switched leads to unnecessary waste of computing power, and that the stability of the ecosystem token economy may be questioned due to the lack of justification for rewards.
It was also decided not to provide a separate reward, as a double reward separate from the existing reward could lead to equity issues, and additional rewards could lead to a decrease in the value of BERS itself due to the inflationary volume compared to the planned distribution volume.
3) When will BERS dApps transition?
Our current estimate is for Q2 2023 when we will stop staking and stabilize the ecosystem as a Klaytn-based token. We will provide a more specific timeline in a separate announcement when we are able to do so.

Currently, some applicants do not provide their BERS wallet address, or their BERS wallet is not registered in their Berith mobile wallet. Please make sure to register your BERS wallet address with Berith Wallet before submitting the SWAP form.
If you do not have any BERA coin holdings, there may be instances where you request an additional swap.

6. BERA wallet changes in Berith mobile wallet due to the reorganization of BERA chain.
With the BERA node reorganization, we will stop exposing BERA wallets and wallet addresses within the Berith mobile wallet. If you need a BERA wallet address for future BERA Swaps, please contact us.
